My name is Jurea Maxwell, born and raised in the Bronx. For over 17 years, I have dedicated to serving community through outreach, support, programs and initiatives that create real impact.

From organizing food and school supply drives to providing stipends for education and trade opportunities, my mission is to bridge gaps and empower others. As an author, speaker, and proud mother, I am committed to building stronger communities and expanding our reach,

"In the Summer 2025 our agency #BBBSRC was fortunate enough to participate in the Bronx Visionary Back to school event to send our families back to school in style. Our agency was invited to have a family resource table at the Bronx Visionary Back to School event held at the Palisades Center to raise awareness of the importance of mentoring! The event was a day full of crafts, music, photo booths, school supplies, back to school haircuts and community coming together to make a difference! We look forward to collaborating with Jurea Maxwell and Bronx Visionary in the future!"
